ICT4Life provides an integrated tool to monitor patients affected with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s diseases or other kinds of dementia. After 14 months of the technology’s adjustment thanks to the perpetual feedback provided by the end-users through early tests and two iterative testing phases, the whole ICT4Life was ready to be tested in real life environments. To validate the technology, the system has been deployed in three scenarios (home sets, rehabilitation rooms and day care centres) in order to ensure the testing of ICT4Life in real-conditions environments by the identified end-users. This deliverable presents the results and its analysis of the field work carried out in the framework of the ICT4Life pilots.
The results of this deliverable followed the structure proposed in the D7.2 User iterative feedback (v2) that allows the reader to be guided throughout its findings thanks to various means:
- The PACT (People, Action, Context and Technologies) framework has been used to
present and analyse the feedback provided by the end end-users,
- Detailed summary of the results achieved before the starting of the pilots,
- Like in the D7.2, a comparative overview of the results achieved has been included,
- The technical aspects of the pilots have been presented in a dedicated section,
- Methodology to conduct the pilots has been detailed in a specific section.
In order to provide a clear overview of the work carried out in the framework of the WP7, the first section of this deliverable focuses on the field work performed until the end of the second year of the project, providing a consistent summary of the results presented in the D7.1 User iterative feedback (v1) and D7.2 User iterative feedback (v2). Then, and it is the core of this report, the deliverable offers an analysis of the pilots conducted in Hungary, Spain and France taking into account several dimensions as well as the methodology applied to gather the data used to produce a relevant analysis of the situation. Finally, the document lists the relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and the strategy used by the consortium to comply with it and its achievement.
