On 8 and 9 October 2018, our partner, the Association Parkinson Madrid presented ICT4life at the II Congress of Patient Organizations in Madrid. This congress was organized by the Patient Platform and held in the audit of the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare of Spain.
On 18 October 2018, the ICT4Life Final Conference was held at ICAB – Business & Technology Incubator, in Brussels. The event was entitled “Meeting the Challenges of Digital Health Innovation for Integrated Care in the EU” and aimed at discovering how the ICT4Life platform responds to the needs of integrated care systems and provides tailored solutions for diverse regional contexts
On 20 and 21 June 2018, the ICT4Life Consortium met in Budapest, Hungary! The event was hosted by the consortium partner Netis Informatics Ltd. and was the opportunity for two days of intense exchange about the project’s achievements and next steps.
On 6 December 2018, Isabella Notarangelo from HOPE presented ICT4Life project and its results at the meeting “Integrated Care in Europe: The Way Ahead” organised by EUREGHA (European Regional and Local Health Authorities) on behalf of the Interregional Group on Health and Wellbeing. The event aimed at discussing the challenges and progresses made in implementing integrated care models across the EU and gave the floor to regional experiences and viewpoints on the matter.
ICT4Life took part in the 18th International conference on Integrated Care “Value for People and Populations: Investing in Integrated Care” in Utrecht (Netherlands) on 23 – 25 May 2018. A cluster of five H2020 projects –ICT4Life, Polycare, CONNECARE, ProACT and CAREGIVERSPRO-MMD– presented together a panel on “Digital health and ICT tools for the future: what’s the added value for integrated care?”
Members of the GATV attended to the PErvasive Technologies Related to Assistive Environments (PETRA) conference, an interdisciplinary conference that focuses on computational and engineering approaches to improve the quality of life and enhance human performance, in order to present the advances in ICT4LIFE project. The conference was hold in Corfu (Greece) from 26th to 29th June 2018.
On 26 February 2018, ICT4Life organized, together with the EU-funded projects FrailSafe, i-Prognosis and Innolabs, a workshop to promote the innovative solutions of tomorrow for frailty prevention, early detection of chronic diseases and integration of health and care services for people with dementia.

ICT4Life took part in a workshop untitled “Artificial Intelligence and Chronic disease management” organised by Mattone Internazionale Salute Programme – ProMIS on 18 – 19 June 2018 in Trento, Italy. The event fostered comparison on the use of artificial intelligence in the context of the management of chronic diseases through the presentation of strategies and policies both at European and national level.
On 21 November 2017, ICT4life took part in this event in Glasgow to share its experience as regard the implementation of SCIROCCO methodology, as a tool to assess the integrated care maturity of the geographical areas interested by the pilots forecasted by the project.
The event was an opportunity to explore the potential of the tool to facilitate the partnerships and knowledge transfer in order to accelerate the journey of European regions towards integrated care.
ICT4Life is developing tailored solutions for people affected by Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other dementias to provide new services for integrated care employing user friendly ICT tools. By using ICT4Life both patients and caregivers might increase their quality of life and extend their autonomy at their own homes. Moreover, it connects patients, caregivers and professionals to facilitate communications among them.
