Description

This workshop was organized by the ALFRED project within the IEEE Healthcom conference in order to present and discuss different ideas related to Open Platforms for providing eHealth services to patients.

Several presentations on open platform for sensoring, services and deployment were presented as conclusion of the ALFRED project. Alejandro Sánchez-Rico gave a presentation of ICT4Life strategy on Open platforms for Fusion and Algorithm training. He highlighted the need of having APIs or tools available to increase and expand the services related to data fusion and algorithms of ICT4Life platform in order to be able to integrate with external services in a more seamless way. This aspect would also improve exploitation of the technology by providing the possibility of moving from the initial focus of the project and apply the platform in different scenarios and diseases by adjusting the information analyzed and the activity detection algorithms functionality.
